DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday the 29th April from 1PM to see the implementation of our deep ripping trial out from Melrose.\nThis trial is investigating if ripping in combination with the application of amendments can:\n\nImprove plant rooting depth via opening a compaction layer at ~20 cm’s\nLeach salts beyond the plant root zone (sodium and chloride)\nCorrect pH stratification (acid throttle)\n\nWe will be using an Agrowplow AP91 from WSB Distributers Jamestown and lime / gypsum from Penrice Quarries.\nThis is a “Tools, Tech and Transformation” Hub Event with the site being managed as part of the “Building Soil Knowledge and Capacity” project.
