Post Pasture Cropping Phase Demonstrations

This project will increase no-till practice adoption rates by engaging 60 farmers to visit a demonstration site in their district to inspect and discuss the results of no-till versus conventional post pasture tillage practices on plant establishment in a post pasture phase of a cropping & livestock rotation. The Group is working to reduce cultivating prior to sowing after an extended period of pasture in the rotation, to improve the productivity, viability and sustainability of land managers in the Low Rainfall Zone. This project will disseminate effective germination is possible in compacted soils without cultivation.
