This project aims to determine and demonstrate best practice methods at three trail sites to:
- Re-establish functional pastures & improve ecological function across the soil profile, water cycle & biological system.
- Trial alternative seeding operations into paddocks protected by the Native Vegetation Legislation (Regulation 11(26)– (5 years undisturbed land- cultivation)
- Share knowledge and lessons learnt with farmers through extension events and activities.
Three demonstration sites established: 2 near Quorn and 1 near Peterborough.
